Open 7 days per week
Summer hours (from July 1st - Labour Day): 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (0900 to 1700)
Winter hours (rest of year):
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1000 to 1700)
Closed: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday.

Admission fees:

Adults: $9.00
Seniors:$8.00
Youth 7-17:$5.00
Family: $22.00
Under 7:Free

All prices include the Goods and Services Tax.

Group discounts are available for pre-booked tours of 15 people or more.

Location:

Head-Smashed-In is located 18 kms north & west of Fort Macleod on Highway 785.

Directions from Calgary
Head south of city limits on Macleod Trail or Deerfoot Trail and continue south on Hwy 2 for approximately 160 km until you see the signs for Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump and Highway 785 West. The turnoff for Hwy 785 West is approximately 1 km north of the major intersection with Hwy 3. If you cross the Old Man River you have missed the turnoff and gone too far south!
